AB1 is a fixed mount, multi-spring balanced seal supplied as a standard cartridge assembly. An important feature of the AB1 is that it is spring-loaded and isolated from the process fluid, so it will not get caught by dirt and fibrous media. The benefit of this construction is that the patented PTFE grooved ring (replacing traditional "o" rings and preventing seizing or rolling of the "O" ring) moves in a clean section of the stationary ring cavity as the end faces wear , reducing the risk of getting stuck by dirt or crystals. The standard dynamic ring is silicon carbide assembled by hot-insertion process, and the standard static ring is graphite or silicon carbide pressed into stainless steel by hot-insertion process (at the same time, the carbide surface of carbide material is optional).

Reliable single seal for clean fluids and low concentration slurries

The benefit of this construction is that the patented PTFE grooved ring (replacing traditional "o" rings and preventing seizing or rolling of the "O" ring) moves in a clean section of the stationary ring cavity as the end faces wear , reducing the risk of getting stuck by dirt or crystals. Typical working conditions:
AB1 is a single cartridge seal for clean fluids, low consistency slurries and abrasive media such as water, solvents and pulp (2% consistency). Mainly used on pumps in the paper industry and general industries (such as water treatment and desalination processes). AB1 cartridge seals can be matched to various pumps and other industry-specific process equipment.
Product Features:
Balanced cartridge design allows Ab1 seals to be used in a variety of demanding applications.
1. The sealing face is assembled using a patented hot-mounting process, which ensures correct, distortion-free alignment at all recommended temperatures.
2. The spring is located in the static part of the seal, reducing the risk of the spring being stuck. The misalignment of the shaft will not cause the O" ring to swing or wear.
3. The "PTFE" groove ring is used to replace the traditional "O" ring at the position in contact with the medium to avoid sticking with the medium.
4. The end face is protected, and the sealing end face support is driven by the mechanism part to prevent the metal stress from deforming the end face.
